We have started greening campaign since 1994 and there are more than 90,000 trees in the estate having height more than 20/25 ft. We have also developed a Nursery to cater our requirement. Naroda is the only industrial estate that conducted Geo Mapping Survey of trees with latitude and longitude location of the trees.
We have identified the unused corridors in Naroda GIDC where industries dump their domestic waste and construction waste materials. Such plots are cleaned and greenery is developed by NIA.
We have a dedicated team and staff to ensure the daily watering and care to the planted trees. Other than GIDC area, we have developed three plots around S.P Ring Road allocated for plantation by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation "Mission Millennium Tree" project.
